After a summary of the essential milestones of the project was given by the ZEDHIA project team and important issues of building up the various stages of the contents of the on-line archive were dealt with, the second part of the advisory board meeting embarked on the subject of the ZEDHIA test portal.

In doing so, the scientific advisory board was faced with the task of critically monitoring the portal and demonstrating the most important desiderata. Although a number of functions have not yet been implemented and more adjustments will follow during the coming months, the advisory board already expressed its high satisfaction with the fist ZEDHIA version. "Being the ZEDHIA advisory board, we are proud of being present at the birth of this portal which is so important for scientific research", said Dr Herbert Mathis, who congratulated the project team on behalf of all of the advisory board.
